Financial Crisis 2007-09 Class Sessions

Civic Camp: Activating Change and Engaging Passionate Leadership
Civic Camp is a one-day leadership conference taking place on campus on Friday, March 6. This is an opportunity for NYU students, faculty, staff, alumni and professionals in the non-profit and for-profit worlds to engage in an intimate discourse about the role of leadership in activating social change. Interested in Pursuing Law School?
Training and Recruitment Initiative for Admission to Leading Law Schools (TRIALS) is a partnership between Harvard Law School, NYU School of Law, and the Advantage Testing Foundation. It is a fully subsidized summer program (July 13-August 14) for students of modest means whose backgrounds are currently underrepresented at the nation's top law schools. Social Impact Spring Break Stipend Program: Apply Now!
Applications are now available for the Social Impact Spring Semester Stipend Program, sponsored by the Stern Undergraduate Dean's Office. A limited number of stipends will be awarded to Stern Undergraduate students, freshmen through seniors, who have arranged for an unpaid internship at a not-for-profit organization or who are participating in a volunteer service project during the spring 2009 semester. Applications are due 5 pm on Friday, February 27, and can be found here.

Stern is proud to host the 9th annual Global Business Conference, which brings together business leaders, academics, students, and alumni over two days to discuss pressing issues in doing business across borders. Friday’s program will include a keynote speaker, two spotlight speakers, and several panels discussing issues related to emerging markets.
