Third Annual MLK Celebration Week
You are invited to NYU's Third Annual MLK Celebration Week featuring student performances, keynote speakers and more. For a complete listing of events, check out the web site.

"GREENING" the Stern Undergraduate College: Saving Power
Beginning this spring semester, and based on recommendations from the Stern Campus Greening Initiative, all classroom podium PC's will be powered down from 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., public PC's will power down after 1 hour of no activity, and printers will automatically go into power-saving mode when not in use. (Podiums and PC's may be used at anytime by pressing the on button, and printers will return to full-power when a job is sent to them.)

Additionally, the elevators in Tisch Hall will begin to bypass both the UC level and the 2nd floor during this week. The stairs leading up to the 2nd floor are easily accessible from the Tisch lobby and taking them will enable you to not only increase your contribution to Stern and NYU’s greening efforts, but will also add a quick burst of exercise into your daily routine. (Please note that students with a documented disability can visit Kristy McCadden in Tisch 600 to request an elevator key.)

Employment Openings at the Little
Cafe - Spring 2008

Are you hoping to become a part of Stern's much loved student-managed business and have a PAID job that is conveniently located on campus for the spring semester? The 3rd floor Little Café is hiring for Spring 2008. Interested parties should email their resume and a brief explanation of interest to Katie Shea. (Please specify “Little Café Position” in subject line.)
