| Research Title: |
Analyzing Trends in International Trade |
| Description: |
This research project studies patterns of international trade at the firm level. I have access to a large database detailing millions of shipments by firm into the United States. As a research assistant, you would assist me in analyzing various patterns in the data. The research is at a preliminary stage; hence dealing with ambiguity will be required. Experience with multi-variable regression analysis and statistical packages are helpful, though a willingness to learn is a must. Experience with database development/data mining/web scraping would also be helpful, but not required. This research opportunity would provide a good experience for those interested in studying economics (or other fields) at the doctoral level. |
