Research Title: Research assistant for marketing project
Description: Description: Assist Professor Adam Alter and PhD students, who are running experiments at Stern and in the field to understand how consumers make judgments and decisions (e.g., whether and how much to give to charity). Typical tasks involve: • Searching academic databases for relevant research articles • Helping design and hand out surveys (e.g., to people in Washington Square Park) • Posting studies online Time commitment: This position is effective immediately, and the time commitment will vary. From early August till mid-September, we expect to require no more than 2-3 hours per week. Onwards, hours will fluctuate but will be no more than 10 hours per week, on average. The tasks and time involved may change depending on the needs and interests of our research team and the research assistant chosen.

Pre-requisites: None--but psychology and/or marketing courses are a plus.
