Welcome Parents
One of the most frequent comments I hear in meetings with faculty, administrators, and other deans, is that Stern is full of truly exceptional students. As a family member of these students, this comes as no surprise to you. Their desire for success, intellectual curiosity and consistent record of achievement are what make Stern such a dynamic and engaging community of scholars.
As Dean, I want to make sure that we keep you well-informed about the initiatives and activities that will affect your student's academic life. I know that behind every one of our great students is the family that got them here - and I also realize that once they do get here, they don't always share as much news as you would like. To meet this end, we are pleased to introduce this dedicated section of our website as well as invite you to become a member of our Stern Family e-Community, an e-mail forum and channel for direct communication between you and the dean's office.
We want to find ways to get you on campus, look for opportunities to hear your input and your concerns, and most of all get you involved as partners in the success of your student.
