Studying abroad is an exciting and enriching experience, both academically and personally. In line with New York  University’s commitment to providing a truly global education, Stern encourages its students to study abroad- for a semester, summer or through our integrated program, the World Studies Track.  Each year, approximately 300 Stern undergraduate students study abroad.

Studying abroad gives students the chance to experience life in another country, develop a global business perspective, and broaden their viewpoint of the world.  In addition to building lasting relationships and refining language skills, students gain self-confidence, flexibility and the ability to thrive in a new environment. 

Stern undergraduates have many options for semester study abroad: NYU Study Abroad, the International Business Exchange Program (IBEX) and the World Studies Track.  We hope that you will take advantage of these opportunities to gain international experience and look forward to partnering with you throughout your journey.
