Globalization expert Pankaj Ghemawat has joined Stern as Global Professor of Management and Strategy. He will lead Stern's new Center for the Globalization of Education and Management.

Remembering Abe Gitlow

Abe Gitlow

Abraham (Abe) L. Gitlow, Dean Emeritus of NYU Stern, passed away on July 15. He joined the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance (as NYU Stern's Undergraduate College was then known) as an instructor in 1947. Under his leadership as Dean, from 1965 to 1985, the School continued to grow into a highly diversified institution with an international reputation for excellence in academic research and teaching. He will be missed.
