NYU Stern Recognizes Professors Adam Brandenburger and Dan Gode for Excellence in Teaching

The Stern distinguished "Teaching Excellence" award, which recognizes a professor who has demonstrated pedagogical delivery on an ongoing basis, was awarded to Adam Brandenburger. Professor Brandenburger received this award for his teaching and course development for Game Theory, Business Strategy and for teaching the core Strategy course to MBA students.

The "Pedagogical Innovation" award, which recognizes a professor who has successfully implemented new courses or redeveloped existing courses by creating innovative syllabi, materials, or introducing effective new techniques, was awarded to Dan Gode. Professor Gode was recognized for his development and teaching of The Financial Accounting & Reporting core course that every full-time MBA student takes, a new Financial Model course, and the assessment and preparation course in accounting.

The Annual Stern Teaching Awards were established in 2007 to recognize excellence in teaching within Stern. All NYU Stern professors are eligible to nominate their colleagues.
