Domestic students: you MUST RENEW your FAFSA each academic year.  Your financial aid for next year will not be automatically set up until we receive your renewal FAFSA application. For more information on the FAFSA process, please visit The FAFSA Process page.

International students:  Please review your options for private loans.

If you are expecting a Bursar refund:

• It will be either mailed to your local address in the form of an NYU check or deposited to your account if you have submitted the direct deposit form to the Bursar's office.
• Please allow two weeks processing time following the disbursement of your funds.
• Due to the large volume of disbursements at the start of each academic year, please be sure to budget accordingly; you should not count on your refund for the first month of any semester.
