Biography
Gregory Ramsey joined New York University Stern School of Business as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Information, Operations and Management Science Department in September 2008.
Professor Ramsey’s research interests include modeling and simulating decision-making processes to understand how people achieve goals in changing environments and identifying patterns in data that predict decision-making processes, which can lead to task-related errors.
Prior to pursuing a doctorate, Professor Ramsey worked as an information technology consultant specializing in the healthcare and real estate industries. Also, while studying at the University of Minnesota, Professor Ramsey was a KPMG Scholar.
Professor Ramsey received a B.S. in Engineering from Duke University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He is currently completing his dissertation for a Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota.
