Biography
Claudio F. Loderer joined New York University Stern School of Business as a Visiting Professor of Finance in September 2008. Professor Loderer teaches courses in valuation and equity valuation. He is the director of the Institut für Finanzmanagement at the Universität Bern and the program director of the Rochester-Bern Executive M.B.A.
Professor Loderer’s primary areas of research include corporate finance, corporate governance, risk management and compensation policies. He has authored a book on valuation and published articles in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Empirical Finance, European Financial Management, Financial Management, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Journal of Monetary Economics.
Professor Loderer received his Bachelor of Economics degree from the Universität Bern and his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.
