Keith Vance joined New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Marketing in September 2009, where he teaches a course in Pharmaceutical Marketing.

Professor Vance has more than 20 years of advertising and marketing experience. He began his career at J. Walter Thompson in account management and later worked for Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB, and Euro, eventually transitioning from consumer packaged goods to pharmaceuticals. He then moved to the client side, managing the manufacturer's marketing efforts for a $2 billion pharmaceutical product.

Now, Professor Vance consults with a number of pharmaceutical manufacturers on their consumer marketing efforts.

Professor Vance holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
