Biography

Lyel is an entrepreneur and an educator who works at the intersection of social and economic value creation. He is passionate about issues of access, engagement, and 21st Century learning.

Lyel is presently the Co-founder of Startup Box South Bronx - a unique campus offering K-12 & community education in tech, design, & entrepreneurship that links low-income communities to the startup ecosystem.

Lyel received his Masters from NYU in Business, Media & and Education, as a Reynolds Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship, and holds degrees in Physics and Political Science from MIT where he was a Burchard Scholar.
