Biography

Most recently, Professor Rolfo has been a consultant to the financial industry, focusing on hedge funds and financial-advisory firms. From 2001 to 2007, he was CEO of CIFG, a de novo bond insurer in the United States and Europe. Before that, he was executive vice president and a founding member of the asset-management and structured-product groups of the CDC Group in the United States -- CIMCO, CDC Servicing and CDC Structured Programs -- with a focus on mortgage-backed securities and global fixed-income markets.

Professor Rolfo has been senior vice president, founder and head of Lehman Brothers' derivative product research group (fixed income) and an official of the World Bank, rising to division chief of the investment department.
