Biography

Dov Fried is Associate Professor of Accounting at the Stern School of Business, New York University.

Professor Fried’s research interests focus on how external (credit and equity) markets interpret and analyze financial information.

Professor Fried has published articles in academic journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Finance and the Quarterly Journal of Economics as well as in professional journals. He is co-author of the textbook The Analysis and Use of Financial Statements. The book has been translated into numerous languages and has been adopted by the CFA Institute for its CFA level I and II exams. He teaches financial statement analysis in the undergraduate, M.B.A., and Executive programs at the Stern School.
