Emiliano Pagnotta joined New York University School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Finance in July 2009.
Professor Pagnotta's research interests lie at the intersection of information economics and the empirical analysis of stock exchanges data, with a focus on high frequency trading dynamics. His recent studies examine the effects of stock markets' institutional trading rules on investors' strategic trading interaction and market outcomes.
Professor Pagnotta earned his B.A. in Economics from Buenos Aires University, Argentina; his M.A. in Economics from Universidad de San Andres, Argentina; and his Ph.D. from the Economics Department at Northwestern University.
