Curriculum for Experienced Working Professionals
Our rigorous general management curriculum provides fundamental grounding in every business discipline. You gain an expansive set of fresh business frameworks and management skills that immediately benefit you and your employer. Global Study Tours provide firsthand knowledge and experience in vital markets, while a broad range of elective courses allows you to hone your specific area of expertise.
Scheduling
The program begins in August or January and takes 22 months to complete. Classes meet Fridays and Saturdays every other week. Students focus on just two courses at a time and projects and exams are staggered to help you balance a career, rigorous coursework and personal life.

Study Groups
We design student study groups to foster collaboration and support. Groups contain four to six students with complementary skills and backgrounds. Working with this cross-functional team facilitates learning and knowledge-sharing and provides you with the ability to approach problems from a variety of perspectives.
Specializations
For students wishing to focus their studies, Stern offers two fixed specializations, in Finance and Leadership. Stern recently offered additional specializations in the following areas: Banking, Corporate Finance, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Global Business, Law & Business, Management, and Strategy. Please note that these additional specializations will likely vary from class to class depending on the electives offered and what they can support. All specializations are optional and each specialization requires the completion of at least nine credits chosen from relevant courses defined by the faculty.
