Panel discussion for the presentation of Banque de France Financial Stability Review on Valuation, October 2008

The 12th edition of the Banque de France's Financial Stability Review is a special issue dedicated to valuation, which is in many respect at the heart of the current financial crisis. With the aim of shedding light on the multiple issues at play, the review brings together contributions from a range of professionals and economists representing various backgrounds: financial institutions, academia, supervisory authorities and central banks. The combination of views expressed in this report provides useful insights on the most relevant topics in terms of financial stability and regulation and will probably contribute to shaping the debate regarding the challenges brought by valuation to the financial world.
