Conference Details



Conference Site

The conference will take place at the Kaufman Management Center of NYU’s Stern School of Business, room 5-50.  The building is located at 44 West Fourth Street, just east of the southeast corner of Washington Square Park.  It is a short walk from numerous subway lines, and is within easy walking distance of some of the most interesting parts of New York City, including Washington Square, Greenwich Village, Soho, Chelsea, Chinatown and Little Italy to name just a few.  Maps are available under FAQs 


Sessions

Each paper speaker will have up to 18 minutes for presentation.  Each discussant will have up to 7 minutes for discussion (which may include Powerpoint slides).  There will be 5 minutes per paper for audience questions.  Please adhere to the schedule.  See the 2009 program for more information: http://www.netinst.org/2009_conference.htm

Presentations will take place in Stern KMC 5-50.  Please send slides electronically to both Nicholas Economides economides@stern.nyu.edu and Eliana Guevara eguevara@stern.nyu.edu, by Monday, April 27th.  Updates to your presentation should be on a ‘jump drive’ (USB drive). 


Conference Papers

Papers are available through the program and will be distributed at the conference.  New versions of your paper should be sent to your discussant, Nicholas Economides economides@stern.nyu.edu and Eliana Guevara eguevara@stern.nyu.edu, by Monday, April 27th.


Audiovisual (AV) Equipment

The room is equipped with a podium computer connected to an overhead projector. 
 

Computing and Internet Access

KMEC has wireless access to the web throughout most of the building.  There will be access through a guest account that will be set up here for the conference.  More details on this will be provided at the conference.
