Welcome to the Stern School of Business Department of Economics

The Stern Economics Department is a vibrant group of faculty and students engaged in teaching, learning, and research.  The department offers courses to undergraduates, MBA, and PhD students.  Our faculty contributes to academic and public debate in a number of areas, with special emphasis on industrial organization and strategy, international aspects of macroeconomics, and economic and financial history.  We are closely linked to the outstanding economics group in NYU's Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
