Social Venture Mentors

The New Venture Mentor Program was created in 2002 by the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. The program is designed to foster both entrepreneurship and volunteerism by introducing NYU Stern students and alumni to business professionals from a variety of disciplines. The mentors commit their time to help guide aspiring Stern entrepreneurs.

The Program provides social and traditional entrepreneurs with insight, advice, and professional and educational wisdom to help them address the key issues for the success of their new or emerging businesses.

Mentees are entrepreneurially-minded NYU Stern MBA students or alumni who have a business concept and need guidance related to a specific industry or help in such areas as:

  • Business Plan Development
  • Idea Refinement
  • Funding
  • Financial Projections
