Entrepreneurial processes involve the discovery and fulfillment of opportunity. In addition to boldness, imagination, resourcefulness and constant learning, successful entrepreneurship requires the acquisition of the knowledge and skills that are needed to move an idea to a commercial reality.

The work of the entrepreneur are among the most creative and exciting of the economy’s activities.  The entrepreneur can contribute to the well being of society at every level, by promoting significant innovation that benefits all, and offering impoverished individuals an avenue for escape.

The Berkley Center dedicates itself to research and teaching that facilitates and improves this process, seeking new insights and improved teaching content that will prepare the prospective entrepreneur more effectively.
