Tony Nanez, BS '92

Tony Nanez is a Vice President at Fortis Bank, a European based financial instituion with over $600 billion in assets.  He is part of the Global Commodity Group focusing on providing structure finance solutions to his clients in the Metal and Mining sector in the Americas.

Mr. Nanez has over eight years of experience in Emerging Markets. Most recently, he was a Vice President at ORIX Trade Capital, a structured trade finance boutique firm where he was responsible for Syndication and Distribution. Prior to ORIX, he was a Director at Toronto Dominion Securities, where he started and ran their Emerging Markets Syndication and Trading business. Prior to that, Mr. Nanez was a Vice President at WestLB where he was responsible for sales of trade finance assets in the Americas. Mr. Nanez is fluent in Spanish and holds a BS from NYU Stern.
