The Stern Fund

NYU Stern’s annual fund supports critical programs and initiatives at the School.  Contributions to the Stern Fund are allocated annually, at the deans’ discretion, to the areas of highest priority for the School and are used to fund new ventures, programs, and projects that are vital to the growth of the School.

Examples of recently funded initiatives include:

• 325 scholarships awarded for students in need
• 15 newly renovated classrooms outfitted with state-of-the-art technology
• Research awards given to faculty members, such as Nouriel Roubini and Rob Engle, whose work is making a meaningful contribution to the ongoing economic repair efforts
• Technologically-enhanced classrooms, outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and collaboration-enhancing tools for MBA and Undergraduate students, as part of our transformational $35 million Concourse Project

Support the Concourse Project

The Concourse Project is a $35 million effort focused on transforming the Stern space into a state-of-the-art place of engagement and learning for Stern students now and in the future. 

In recent years NYU Stern’s reputation has outpaced its facilities, necessitating a renovation that aligns the School’s physical environment with Stern’s high quality educational experience and dynamic community.  The Concourse Project is part of our commitment to provide a world-class business education to our students, important community-building spaces for our alumni and students, and cutting-edge research facilities for our faculty.  The renovation is being funded entirely by support of the School’s most generous supporters.
