SternNet
- the NYU Stern global alumni network - is a community of 67,000
professionals who share the Stern School experience. This community
represents a tremendous resource both to you and to the School.
I encourage you to remain active in this network by logging on to
SWAP - the Stern Worldwide Alumni Platform - to which we are devoting
considerable resources, including a major software upgrade.
By keeping your
contact information current, you will receive School publications,
such as this issue of STERN@lumni, as well as invitations to the
many new and dynamic programs and events offered through our Office
of Alumni Affairs, including the latest information on the Paris
2004: Global Alumni Conference; the Author Lecture Series, presented
in conjunction with the Museum of American Financial History; industry
related panels; lifelong learning workshops; and other networking
opportunities.
As you read
about the continued upward momentum of the Stern School and the
many ways in which you can get involved, I hope that you will take
an active role in strengthening our community.
Best regards,
Thomas F. Cooley
Dean
