The Class of 2003 Legacy Campaign
The Legacy campaign provides a way for the Class of 2003 to continue its connection with the School beyond graduation. Investing in the future of Stern by contributing to the Legacy Campaign is a long and valued tradition among the School's graduating students. A Class Legacy gift is a tangible way for graduates to maintain their engagement with the School, enhance the quality of a Stern education for future students, and ensure that their degrees remain among the most prestigious in business education.

The Stern MBA Class of 2003 enjoyed the most successful Legacy campaign in the School's history, with 89 percent class participation and a total of $205,353 in pledges collected. MBA Legacy Co-Chairs Rose Maguire, MBA '03, and Peter Gallagher, MBA '03, announced that the MBA Legacy Committee elected to make its mark on the School by funding a Stern graduate social lounge and game room. Taking the place of the Sosnoff Lounge, the new lounge will feature a pool table, dart board and large-screen TV. It will serve as a fun, study-free zone - a place to relax, socialize and get to know each other better between and after classes.

The Stern Undergraduate Class of 2003 raised a total of $10,093 in pledges and gifts and secured 36 percent class participation. Senior Class Legacy Co-Chairs Yuna Cho, BS '03, Olivia Fu, BS '03, and Prashant Raykar, BS '03, announced that the Legacy Gift will help fund a Career Resources Library. Designed to provide undergraduate students and alumni of the undergraduate college greater access to career resources on campus, the new library will house computers for accessing information about recruiting companies, books on graduate schools for students who choose to continue their education, preparation books and software for standardized tests (i.e., the GRE, GMAT, LSAT and MCAT) and a wealth of other educational and job search resources. The Library will tentatively be housed on the second floor of the Tisch building.
