Alumni Weekend to Reunite Graduates
in Washington Square

On April 3-6, NYU will hold its first all-University Alumni Weekend, bringing alumni from around the world back to Washington Square to reconnect with the University and renew ties with each other. The weekend will include a series of special events, including the NYU Alumni Association Annual Awards Dinner; an opportunity to meet NYU President John Sexton and hear his vision for the future of New York University; a Stern School Career Education Presentation and reception hosted by Vice Dean Frederick D.S. Choi; and a Gala Alumni Dinner Dance Party, hosted by Alec Baldwin, TSOA '94.

Thursday, April 3
Annual Alumni Job Expo for Graduate Students
and Experienced Professionals

Puck Building, 295 Lafayette Street (at Houston Street)
4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Bring an updated copy of your resume and prepare to make the rounds among the many employers looking to hire talented NYU graduates.

Friday, April 4
NYU Alumni Association Awards Dinner
Bridgewaters, South Street Seaport
6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Cost: $75

Join fellow alumni as the University honors some of its most distinguished graduates at this annual event. Raymond W. Kelly, New York City Police Commissioner, will be presented with the Eugene J. Keogh Distinguished Public Service Award. Distinguished Alumni Award Recipients will include: Dr. Eric Kandel, Nobel Prize winner; Philip Coltoff, Chief Executive Officer of the Children's Aid Society; and Stanley Kasten, President of the Atlanta Braves, Hawks and Thrashers.

Saturday, April 5
NYU Stern School of Business Career Education Presentation

Cost: $25

Shari L. Neufeld, a senior career consultant and corporate trainer with Lee Hecht Harrison, will present: "Networking: The Art of Finding a Job." The presentation will cover a variety of areas including: the network you have and how you can develop it; the right way to approach your network for assistance; utilizing the CareerTools Stern Alumni Career site; how to develop networking scripts and more. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Then put your new skills to work at a networking reception hosted by Frederick D.S. Choi, Vice Dean and Dean of the Undergraduate College.

Saturday Evening, April 5

Gala Alumni Dinner Dance Party
Grand Hyatt New York
7:00 p.m. - Midnight

Cost: $100 ($50 for alumni from the Classes of 2002-1992)

The Gala Alumni Dinner Dance Party, hosted by Alec Baldwin, saluting the reunion classes of '98, '93, '88, '83, '78, '73, '68, '63, '58 and '53 on Saturday evening will be the crowning event of the weekend. It will begin with a cocktail reception with alumni from your decade, followed by a dinner. The Larry King Orchestra will provide music for dancing in the ballroom of one of Midtown's most glamorous locations.
