A Message from
Dean Thomas F. Cooley |
I am delighted to address you in this issue of STERN@lumni in my new role as Dean of
NYU Stern School of Business. This past decade has been a time of extraordinary progress for Stern. I look forward
to working together with you, our alumni, to achieve the next level of excellence and to secure Stern's position
among the handful of elite business schools. We will achieve this aim by continuing to build a strong, committed
research faculty, by attracting the best and brightest students and by increasing the engagement of our alumni.
As we remember the challenges of the past year, we can reflect upon the strong spirit of responsibility in the
many committed alumni who have been generous with their time, knowledge, expertise and resources in support of
the School's mission. These invaluable contributions have helped to create a strong sense of community and purpose
that is essential for achieving our goals.
I look forward to meeting you personally and to working with you in the year ahead. Thank you for your ongoing
support.
Best regards,
Thomas F. Cooley
