MBA/MA in Politics (Graduate School of Arts and Science)
This dual degree program is designed for students interested in business or government careers and offers a broad understanding of the relationship between business and politics. Both degrees are completed over the course of 2.5 years, instead of the 3 years that it would take to complete each degree independently.
Admission to the MBA/MA in Politics program
To apply for the dual MBA/MA in Politics degree, candidates must complete a separate application for each program. No additional admissions standards are applied to dual degree applications at either school. The student qualifies for the dual MBA/MA degree program upon admission to both schools.
Individuals who already hold one of the individual degrees are not eligible for admission to the dual degree program.
Tuition & Financial Aid
MBA/MA students pay full tuition at the school through which they are registered each semester. If a student exceeds the maximum number of credits and/or courses permitted per semester by the school in which she/he is registered, the tuition and fees for the additional credits must be paid to that school.
Merit scholarships are awarded based on the admissions application to each school. Financial aid, including federal and private loans, is awarded through the school at which a student is registered in a given semester. In addition, students may obtain Teaching Fellowship or Graduate Assistantship positions, which offer tuition remission.
