Doing Business in... Programs
Gain international experience without giving up a semester at Stern

  • One- to two-week, intensive courses offered between semesters in January and May or during breaks (one-and-a-half or three credit courses)
  • Study in Australia, India, China, Singapore, Argentina, Italy, Ireland, or Hungary
  • Visit NYU Stern’s "Doing Business in..." (DBi) website

Semester Study Abroad Program
An exciting opportunity for immersion in a foreign culture and its business practices

  • Spend a semester studying abroad in a leading overseas graduate business school alongside future business leaders of the host country
  • Stern has 40 exchange partners in 26 different countries
  • Popular countries include Australia, China, England, France and India

International Club Treks

  • Short extracurricular trips organized by various academic and community clubs, typically ranging from a few days to one week during school breaks
  • Recent destinations include Japan, London and South Africa 
  • Recent international treks have been hosted by the Asian Business Society, Association of Hispanic and Black Business Students, Japan Business Association, Emerging Markets Association, European Business Society and Social Enterprise Association 

Cannes Film Festival

  • Students taking The Craft & Commerce of Cinema travel to the Cannes Film Festival to study all aspects of the film industry including development, financing, distribution and marketing
  • The week-long trip to France takes place in May, after the conclusion of the Spring semester and includes both full-time and part-time MBA students
