Exchange Buddy Program
The International Committee of Scorp and MBA International Programs have teamed up to create the Exchange Buddy Program for incoming exchange students studying at Stern during the fall or spring semester. Stern buddies are comprised of Stern students that have studied abroad, plan to study abroad or are Student Volunteers of the program. Incoming exchange students are matched with Stern MBA students who can offer additional information about the Stern community, academics and cultural information. Buddies are encouraged to engage in social activities they want to do together. For example, they may wish to visit museums together, meet for dinner or simply meet for coffee on campus. During these meetings, participants have an opportunity to talk about issues that are of importance to them. Stern students interested in becoming a Stern Buddy should send an e-mail to MBA International Programs at intl@stern.nyu.edu. The Spring 2008 Stern Buddy Mixer is scheduled for Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. This will be the first opportunity for Incoming exchange students to connect with their Stern Buddies.
